Argyle staff have carefully considered the purpose and philosophy of awards, particularly the Achievement Awards that have traditionally recognized academic and service benchmarks. We are looking to broaden the scope of recognition with a focus on Learning as well as Achievement.Piper Awards will be recognized and celebrated throughout the school year in classrooms. Teachers will nominate students over the course of the school year, and students will receive certificates presented to them in their respective classrooms.In addition, we will acknowledge various achievements of students’ school wide. Music Department Awards will be awarded at the final music concerts of the year, and Fine Arts Awards will be awarded at significant showcases or in class. Our Athletics Banquet will continue to celebrate Argyle’s athletes.
